Job Summary:
Primary responsibilities include development of windows and reports to be included in an existing Power Builder application. Tasks will include requirements analysis and documentation, SQL coding, and report/datawindow design. Developing and documenting test cases and result verification will be a critical function of this position. Perform related duties as assigned.
Required Competencies:
• 2 years experience in either or both of: PowerBuilder 9 (or higher), or Oracle Forms 6.5 (or higher).
• 2 years experience with Oracle 7.x or higher.
• Application design experience is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Knowledge and experience of application development life-cycle, including software testing and related activities.
• Good verbal and inter-personal communication skills.
• PL/SQL Web Toolkit, Java Script, or HTML (FrontPage) experience is a plus.
• Motivated Self-starter, cooperative and team oriented
• Creative, ability to multi-task, good verbal and written capabilities
• Insurance industry experience a plus but not required.
Salary Range: Commensurate with Experience
Relocation Expenses: Not covered
