Rater / Underwriting Assistant

Job Summary:
Brown & Brown is seeking a skilled individual to work in its wholesale division, with familiarity in rating systems for CNA, Travelers, SafeCo and The Hartford to rate and quote for new business. Typical job duties also include, but are not limited to, qualifying new business by reviewing applications, obtaining additional underwriting information, process coverage change requests and cancellations.
Required Competencies:
A minimum of 2 years experience with rating is required. The individual will also need to possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
